📄 AI CV Writer

Paste rough experience notes and let the AI layer turn them into polished, achievement-focused CV content.

Notes in, bullets out, facts still yours

CV Writer uses task: "cv" on /api/ai. The prompt tells the model to turn notes into achievement-oriented CV content and not to invent facts. Temperature 0.3, about 1,800 tokens, 30,000 character slice. The page shows text. It does not score you and it does not export the résumé PDF. That is CV Maker, after you have deleted the lines you cannot defend.

HTTPS carries the notes. There is no résumé database in the Worker. Treat the paste as a transmission anyway. A full CV plus a national identifier is more than the model needs to rewrite a bullet about a migration.

One role, then the words you can say

A career change

Feed the notes for the role you are aiming at, not every job since school. The model will try to make a single story. You may not want one.

A metric you have

Write the number in the notes. If you do not have a number, say what you shipped and who used it. Do not accept a percentage that appeared only in the completion.

A keyword from the posting

Add it only where the work matches. “Kubernetes” in a bullet about spreadsheets is how the screen starts badly.

Two files later

The portal CV and the PDF you hand to a person should list the same employers and dates. The writer does not keep them in sync. You do.

Notes, generate, strike, then the maker

  1. Paste notes for one or two roles. Remove identifiers you do not need.
  2. Generate. Strike every tool, metric, and date you did not supply.
  3. Paste the kept lines into CV Maker if you want a picture PDF for a person.
  4. For a portal with a text box, paste those same lines into the form. The photographed PDF will not carry them as text.

ATS-friendly CV is what happens when the pretty file has no text layer.

A strike list before CV Maker

Print the notes you pasted and the bullets that came back. Anything on the right that is not on the left is a candidate for deletion: a tool, a percentage, a team size, a verb like “led” when the note said “helped.” The prompt forbids invented facts. The page will not highlight them for you.

Keep employers and dates identical to the CV you will actually send. The writer does not open CV Maker and does not know that the PDF export there is a photograph. Paste accepted lines into the form for a visual file, and paste the same lines into a portal’s text fields if the site asks for text. A metric that was not in your notes does not become true because the bullet is shorter.

Frequently asked questions

Will it add tools I did not list?

The prompt says not to invent facts. The completion sometimes does, because a “strong” bullet looks incomplete without a stack. Delete any tool you have not used. A portal keyword you cannot discuss in a screen is a liability, not a boost.

Is the output a finished PDF?

No. You get text in the page. Paste the lines you accept into CV Maker and export there. The writer does not apply a template and does not know which regional layout you need.

How much of my history is sent?

Whatever you paste or extract, up to 30,000 characters. The Worker does not store it. Strip national ID numbers, full address, and unrelated employers before the call.

It merged two jobs.

The model compressed the timeline. Split them back. Dates that overlap because of a merge are a different employment record than the one you lived.

Can this pass an ATS by itself?

No. ATS Checker is a separate task and also only a critique. A plain CV Maker template with true keywords is the file. The writer is a draft of bullets.

The bullet claims a metric I never measured.

Remove it. “Reduced time by 30%” with no source is an invention even if the sentence is grammatical. The prompt forbade it. You still have to catch it.
